Mew my paper tml will supposedly include a question on our favourite former ms sg world so i'm doing some last minute research on her (if u can call watching and laughing at videos, research..yea anything to avoid notes and textbooks :/). I find her q&a session particularly..erm..impressive. Really don't understand why people would put themselves out there to be ridiculed (I mean even if you did well you never know what people who are watching in the security of their homes are saying about you). Is the fame really worth it? :/ I'd rather not give people the chance to make me the butt of their jokes. bleah

weird convo, nice convo

Desy walked into Tuesday's lecture snickering, so i asked her why she looked so excited. Apparently, she witnessed these 2 huge lizards (not our usual house guests but maybe sth like chameleon or monitor lizard??) mating right in front of the door on the passageway. Then she enthusiastically shared another story about how she witnessed 2 flies mating on the windscreen of her mom's car sometime ago. So cool right? I never get to see such things :/ Anyway while we were on the topic, i told her the video i watched which was on mating turtles. I promised to post the video xiaomeng and I love so much so here you go! C'mon c'mon let's share the love! Btw it's meant to be educational (ahem), so i refuse to adopt mel's usage of 'animal porn'. She's the dirty one, not moi :D
Meh! Class is boring :< Oh well this class has always been boring, but today's definitely redundant. He's actually teaching material that's not prepared for this class lor. I'm sick of staring at my computer screen and nodding absently at whatever he's droning on about.
Hur at least there's sorority life to keep me busy.
HAHAHA. No actually I wanna cry. I'm so sad i've so few friends on it lor. For those who don't know what the crap i'm talking about, I'm referring to the fb game that i've been obsessing over for the past 2 weeks. Basically the aim of the game is to advance levels, earn money, attack other girls, socialise and buy clothes. Snigger. Sounds bimbo? Lol yea, maybe even a little boliao, but it's so addictive. I love getting new costumes. Oh not to mention I won 3 yachts and one chartered plane through the lottery. If only this is real life. Bleah.
Anw, my point is to avoid being an easy target for other bitchy sorority girls (i'm not gonna say if i'm one of those cos it's the survival of the fittest out there), i had to increase my house strength, which means i gotta GET MORE SORORITY SISTERS!!!! So far I've psycho-ed xiaomeng, desy, shiya and jings to create accounts (of whom only shiya's making an effort to play the game) and forced mel to accept my friend request even though she's stopped playing it. I've gone so far as to beg my male classmate to become my sister, only to be scoffed by him for questioning his manliness. Chey :/
SO PEOPLE, if you're reading this, it means you CARE about me and would go create an account at sorority life and ACCEPT MY FRIEND REQUEST! BE MY SISTERRRRRRR! :DDDD

YAYYY!
So i've successfully converted xiaomeng to be one of the true blood followers too. After i gave her the link to season 2 videos, she's been watching it (though she did stop for a while after i distracted her with videos of animals mating. Don't ask me why. We're weird like that. Snigger) and she agrees with me it's a fabulous season. Okay, those weren't her words exactly, but the sentiment is there. Hehe and now she's going back to review season 1 to refresh her memory. See! Isn't that enough proof season2 is good? :D
Oh and i've been watching How i met you mother. Just to prove that i'm not only interested in shows with twisted content. I can also enjoy a funny sitcom one ok? And today mel told me Flashforward is good? That's the second time in a week someone's recommended this show to me. Maybe i should check it out.
But i really watch shows very slowly. I watch like two a day, one during lunch, the other during dinner. Which was why i suffered when i was watching true blood2. I was in the midst of mixing the sauce of my spaghetti when this scene of a woman's heart being dug out came on screen :/ Trust me, the sloshing sound INSIDE the screen was awfully similar to the one OUTSIDE that screen. Almost ruined my appetite. Yea, almost cos the next scene that came up did the job: 2 people enjoying a cake that's made of the heart. And everytime they dug into the cake, the blood flowed out. =___= Gross, yes, but kinda cool huh. Smirks.
Okies i'm going off to read my storybook liao. Weeeeeeeeekend's hereeeeee!

Xiaomeng was telling me she dreamt of susu last night, and that was when i remembered my dream about jun. It was a very very long dream involving almost everyone i've known in my entire life (funny how they all came together for no rhyme or reason), but i can only recall how it ended. I think jun was lazing around on the grass, watching a concert and when i arrived with a friend, he shifted and made space for me (yes ONLY me). I settled down next to him and at that point, my friend (faceless, i'm sorry pal) vanished, probably since jun and i only had eyes for each other. MUAAHAHAHA. Anyway the good dream ended, leaving me with a warm and fuzzy feeling when i woke up. ii ne! :D
On the other hand, i had a very weirdddd dream about susu a few nights ago. Something along the lines of him being my gay prof's secret lover. LOL. Shit shit shit. I guess your subconscious really reveals alot yourself huh. But consciously I also know i'm twisted. Heh.
Mew since this is a random post, i shall use this opportunity to mourn for my dead ipod. It's dead, after almost 3 years of manhandling by the not very graceful chewy. I thought there was hope for it (i didn't get down to naming it so it's an 'it' and not a 'he' like my lappie nino) but i got a shock when the apple staff told me it'd cost 500-600 bucks for a 1-for-1 replacement. *&#@&*^% siao. I might as well spend that money on an ipod touch or the 160GB ipod classic. Still got change left somemore lor.
Hur anyway I found out yesterday, to my horror, that i had a strand of silver hair!!!! Silver, white, wadever! It wasn't black or brown T___T It's so depressing. I guess it can't be helped also, since i'm already someone's xiaoyi. What's a few strands of white hair to fit that auntie image right? :<
Oh well don't mind me. I'm in the mood to ramble and wallow in misery. sniff

Has anyone heard of the book Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews?
I saw someone mention it in her blog about it being a story on incestuous relationships and if you know me, you'll know i just had to check it out. Yea mention 'incest' and my eyes light up. HAHAHA. Yea so I went to wiki it and WHOAAAA, it's really quite a twisted story. So controversial it's not even available in our good old dependable library lor :< I wonder where i can get it. Maybe I can find it in regular bookshops ne. Hmm. You can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flowers_in_the_Attic
Anyway to put it simply, it's like incest runs in the family. Lol that's like stating the obvious. But my point is there were a few incestuous relationships going on. Half-uncle/niece, brother/sister, daughter/step-father, brother/sister-in-law......This book's part of a 5-book series about the family so it's really tragedies and tragedies and more tragedies. It's like nothing good's ever happening to this family. I've only ever read one of this author's book (i forgot which one, but i rem my sis rented-but-forgot-to-return it so i somehow read it when i was in primary school) but it wasn't so twisted. It was still something about taking revenge and stuff. Heavy content. Lol no wonder I'm kinda twisted. It's all my sister's fault for introducing me to such perversion when I was still a young and naive little girl. Meh.
Oh well what can i say? Harm already done. Shall set out to hunt for this series :D :D Anyone interested too???? ^^

i hate emails
Wednesday, September 9, 2009
I don't know if I hate school more or if i hate working more.
I spent my free days (yes I've a 3-day school week and i think my mom's already sick of cooking lunch for me. lol) working on school-related stuff and when i'm not, i've this nagging feeling that i ought to be poring over my books or at least doing something constructive for my grades. Maybe I haven't mugging for too long and I've forgotten how to. It's just sooo sooooo very difficult to get into the studying mood. I'd read a few pages of my textbook, walk around, read my storybook, then go back and read a few pages of that damn thing that I wish would just combust as I evil-eyed it. Shit. I simply cannot concentrate.
Fine, so I try to focus on my projects instead, since that'd give me a legitimate reason to switch on my computer and go do all the research that I need. I gotta say I HATE CHECKING EMAILS. Especially since we've been emailing people to request for information and interviews, and i've to prepare myself for disappointment each time i see a "I'm sorry but...." Pui! :/ As if rejection is bad enough, i have to put up with non-replies. So what now? I'll sit around and wait endlessly for a positive answer, and when i get none, I've to thicken my skin and send another "hi, it's me again" email. And now i'm waiting for an email from someone who can make or break my project. I'm so not looking forward to checking my inbox tml. Can i pay someone to do it for me? Sulks.
Alrights I'm gonna go off and read my storybook. Life as a year 4 sucks. No, cross that. Life sucks when nothing's going the way i like it :/
