Had my reunion dinner yesterday evening and it lasted for less than an hour before i had to bolt for the door so i could get to hougang on time. The taxi fare was atrocious. It was 15 plus but with the surcharges, it came up to 21.90. wth? i cant even claim this from my boss cos i'm paid for running the show. tsk. So it all boils down to wasting MY own money. blah.

Hur it doesnt help that the person-in-charge at the roadshow was rude. She demanded that we cut down on the games and promote her stupid beer for every single second, totally ruining the atmosphere. I know she's worried about the sales but she could work on her tone. I'm so gonna ask gam leih whether she knows who that person is and hopefully she has a bad reputation in that company so ah gam may bitch with me. nyaahahahha.

Mew i'm not going for the countdown show at kallang tonight and i actually feel guilty about it cos my boss's the only person running the show (from our station, that is, since it's a joint event by all 3 chinese stations). My PE's away in m'sia and i'm supposedly busy (as i told her when she asked if i was available to help out. lol i cant help that i need to go pray pray at the temple right?) so yea, i say good luck to my boss.

It's FRIDAY!!!! And so i declare i survived 3 weeks of internship. Smirks. I still have to attend this roadshow tml night at hougang though. tsk. I dont like to take the NE line lah. And i'm having my reunion dinner before that. I cant even eat to my heart's content without watching the clock to make sure i leave the house on time. Maybe my bro-in-law would be KIND enough to drive me there. AHEM (dajieeeeeeee~~ u and ur hubby r the best pple in the world *beams*).

I seriously cant wait till CNY but i can do without the "making small talk with relatives" part though. I guess i'm kinda excited cos there's the one week break for me, and also cos i wasnt in sg last year so...i actually miss the house-hopping feel? Lol even though i'm thinking of how to entertain myself already. I should probably bring my nintendo ne? If only i can bring my laptop too. hahahaha. tsk. One week's not enough lor! First 2 days would be packed with visits, then i've things on for the next 3 days too. Shit. Where would the 'lazing at home n catching up on dramas' part come in then? Sighs. I need a better plan.

HO i feel so full since i just had dinner after coming back from packing goodie bags at kallang. Hurhur. me no like feelng full at night. sighsss.

My bosses arent in the office yet so i'm surfing the net. And since shiya was talking about the lizard in her class and i've been hearing loud clicking sounds at night when i'm sleeping, i decided to research on our favourite-of-the-week:

I came home at 7.40 tonight and my father stared at me.

papa: "Wah. 这么早啊？今天不用卖红包？"
me: "HUH? 早？？我本来就应该这个时间回来的！"
papa: "为什么？他们不要你去买红包啊？"
me: "HUHH? 今天没有红包卖！！"
papa: *starts to 碎碎念 about being home early again*
me: "GRAH!"

Now i dont even think about getting off early. I'm happy enough if they actually let me off on time. And i realised i havent had any home-cooked meals in almost a week. I felt like crying when some DJs were sympathizing me for having to slog through the last few nights. They were surprised that our boss didnt give me today off after all i've done for them last week. HA. I hope they meant it when they said they were gonna drop some hints to the boss to cut me some slack. Sighs. I spent the whole of today organising files and seriously, i dont mind doing such work if it helps me get off work punctually. HOMEEEEE. I MISS MY HOMEEEE. Sighs. This week is hell week. There's the SCO rehearsal tml night, then the actual perf on fri and sat, and 2 roadshows on sunday. I seriously cannot wait for the ONE WEEK cny holiday to come. Yes. One week! HAHAHA cos mcorp's cutting costs and they want to shut down the entire place for the week. Lol. But i dunno if my pay would be cut too, cos there'll be more of such holidays after april when the new policy kicks in. Grah if they cut it then it'd be less than peanuts lor. Tsk.

Mew how's everyone anyway? I'd so prefer to study. At least i can meet up with friends and gossip. I feel like i havent seen a lot of people in a long time. sighs. My weekendsssssss. I cant even go for treetop walk with fy le lor. MEH :<

I think i'm falling sick. Left house for work at 12noon yesterday and it was hot, then i got on the bus and it was cold. Then hot when i needed to transfer, and cold again when i got on the next bus. Walked under the hot sun to get to mcorp, then cold once again when i reached the office. That probably explains why i'm sneezing now.

Sighs. I dunno what time i'm gonna get home tml since i'm reporting for work at 10.30am. Cos my bosses dont usually tell me to go home. It's either they dont care or they are just plain busy to be mindful of trivial stuff like their insignificant intern getting off work. So usually i'd need to ask. Grah i hope they wont make me stay till 8pm just to make sure i work 9.5hrs a day. I mean if you were to calculate all these OT i've been doing for them, it's not too much to even let me off at 4pm. Meh. If only i can tell that to their face.

And do the chinese fans really appreciate such songs? It sounds horribly hilarious. Not in a good way, of cos =__=;

Reached home at 9.30 and had my dinner. Now i've bathed and am sitting comfortably in front of my dearest lappie. Like finally =__= I miss it so much lor :< And my legs r breaking. I ran up and down and up and down the building today. My arms feel a bitshaky too, cos i was moving heavy props to the van (they have this play at sco and today i went with them to their rehearsal, which explains the late dismissal :/).

Anw I feel so sorry for my promo exec (PE) lor. She's taking on multiple roles. Since there's only one boss, one PE and many DJs, she's the one who has to settle all the shitty stuff. I probably wouldnt be able to take the stress if i were her. If they didnt manage to hire an exploitable intern (who happens to be yours sincerely), she'd be the one who's running up and down (she's still doing that now just not as much), doing lanterns and other lame stuff on top of the more serious stuff. Poor girl. I wonder how much they pay her. I wont want to stay even if they pay me big bucks. Who wants to come early, go home late, and worse still, bring back work to do? It's like working at least 18 hours a day. What a sucky life. As u can tell, i'm definitely not a workaholic. Nowhere near it man.

So I was telling kr that i still find it weird to hear the DJs chat in the office. It's like listening to the radio. Sometimes i cant even tell if it's the radio or them speaking normally in the office =__= Hurhur.

I like it when my bosses are out of office ^^ I spent the entire morning happily making lanterns, thinking they were for decoration within the office. It was only in the afternoon that my boss told me they were meant for auction during the public event on sat =__=; Gosh they should have told me earlier lah! I tore some angbaos incidentally lor :/

Grah i want to go home on time. I'm so envious of pl, who works shifts and gets to go home at 3pm. I dont mind starting work at 7am if i can end early too. Sighs. And my boss just warned me that it's gonna be very hectic these days. I guess that means i'll go home late again tmr. Why hasnt any intern organised a strike to protest against labour exploitation? I'll be sure to turn up with a paper bag over my head.

I just came back from a kbox session at cine. I wish i could have sung more though. 3hours for 5 people just isnt enough. Sighs.

Anyway i got a haircut! My mother couldnt tell i did so i guess it's not that different. Probably just thinner and my fringe shorter. Hurhur i'm gonna keep it long this time round cos i fancy a change in image every now and then. But i doubt i'd look feminine with long hair. Probably just that i wont be asked to show my ic when i purchase any N-16 movie tix. Yea going for the more mature and elegant look. WAHAHAHA. Ahem seriously though. Isnt it obvious that i look older than 16? I understand if they need to check if i'm watching some R21 show but N16? Snort. I guess i ought to feel flattered? But what's there to be happy about when these people obviously just arent good with ages? Chey.

And work's starting in...less than 2days' time! T____T I'm scared. What if i dont like the envt? What if they hate me? What if i screw up? 6months is sooo long. Grah i'm counting down before work has even started :/
