Hoh i went for the kpop concert last night. Alone. I was prepared to be lonely all the way until my dearest pri sch fren SL messaged me in the morning and said her korean tcher told her she still had tickets left so she was wondering if she shd accompany me. Then she realised it's not free seating n we probably wont be sitting together so she decided against it :/ which is silly cos all the ntu pple r just within the proximity. We could have swopped with them, which is wad someone did with me. Well i was promoted one row to row11 so i'm not complaining. Snigger.

Anyway here's my view of the stage:

Not bad right? But the stage design is horrible.

I was commenting to the stranger (also ntu student who came alone) next to me that we have better representative icons than the merlion right? Then i thought for a while and only the esplanade came to my mind =__=; Oh well i guess they could have made the merlion less obiang. Now it looks like those lion dance thingy :/

When the hosts came out, everyone started screaming and i instinctively took out my hp and snapped a closeup (and blur, yes i know) shot. In case u're wondering, that's jewelry's leader park jung ah, shinhwa's andy and erm liyi :/ I'm sure a lot of people hate her now, esp when i caught her chatting with them during performances by other groups. They were kinda pitiful though, cos they stood throughout the 2 hours hosting the show. Park and Andy stretched their legs a couple of times. Snigger. Guess liyi is considered professional cos never did she once looked tired. Heh.

No other pics other than those 3 up there cos the staff was just sitting next to me on the aisle. She got up and asked a malay woman sitting on the other side of the stairs to put down her camera, which she ignored. Snigger. That malay woman was funny. She's like a typical fan, screaming, waving and covering her mouth surprisedly, like she was on the brink of tears when V.O.S, andy, jun jin, 2pm, U-kiss blah blah came out. I was amused cos she looked like she didnt know they were gonna appear onstage :/ If i were to sneak my camera out n take a pic, it'd be to snap her entertaining reactions rather than the performances. Snigger.

Mew i'll say Wondergirls r probably the nicest of all the artistes. They put up energetic performances of Nobody and Tell Me, and lingered onstage for a while after the entire thing ended while the rest walked off with straight faces, without even waving or smiling :/

Overall I guess it's a pretty cool concert, and our only representative carrie yeo did us proud by delivering a splendid (pitch-perfect, powerful, emotional) perf of the 12Lotus theme song. Kekeke.
