It's been a great weekend. Simply cos i didnt have to work at all. Hahhaa i was grinning when my PE confirmed with me that i'm off the hook for this sat and sun. I heard a DJ laugh when i mumbled a "great!". Hur cant blame me for the enthusiasm considering i'm already prepared to slog through all the weekends till the end of the internship. This break is certainly a pleasant surprise, though it's probably nothing much to interns who stick to a strict 5-day work week. hmpf.

Yesterday was special! Cos i celebrated v-day for once! But with the wrong crowd lah. Hahahhaa met the aunties in the afternoon for suki buffet and i think i ate quite a lot. I cleared the last plate of ebi fry. By myself :D I wanted to get another serving of korokke but i guess i was really too full for it. Hur and i met up with kw and elaine after that, watching them eat their dinner at sushi tei before we proceeded to MOF for desserts. Lol it was jap cuisine all the way. I think i'm gonna stay away from it for a while. Anyway we went to westcoast park and boy, was the place packed or what. It didnt really feel like vday cos there were a lot of families around. We ended up just chitchatting (it's mostly just kw talking while elaine n i rolled our eyes at kw's amusing-but-so-high-school stories. smirks). Too bad we didnt manage to spy on any couples making out in the bushes. That was our original purpose. What a disappointment.

But what's vday without the usual snide remarks from spiteful singles like me? I saw this ginna couple and the girl was smelling her paper flowers. loll. Maybe the boy sprayed perfume on the paper huh. Maayybe. Oh and couples are seriously annoying. They take up a table meant for 6 people, leaving hungry singles (i dont care much about the hungry couples. they can stare into each others' eyes and roll over or sth) like us queueing outside infinitely for tables. They should let 2 couples share one table lor. Maybe offer the cheapo ginnas a 10% discount and i'm sure you'd see a lot of stranger couples double-dating. What a great business idea ne. I'm brilliant man.
