I'm tired. And i feel warm, in the sense of heat radiating from within my body. I wonder if I'm getting a fever cos of the flu jab i took this morning. Or perhaps it's just a consequence of staying out in the stupid glaring sun all afternoon. It's not that I wanted to. I started cursing and swearing as soon as i stepped out of home but i didn't have a choice cos my sis won tickets for the FUNVEE ride so my family and I decided to play tourists for the day.

We had to go to Singapore Flyer to redeem the tickets and we took a shuttle bus to suntec city and walked the remaining distance. I almost shriveled up and died there and then. I'm sure I'm noticeably tanner after today. I feel so dirty. I mean I think I look damn dirty. I suit the pale look better. Yes I'd rather look like a pig than a wild boar. Go figure.

Anyway the tour was fairly uninteresting, though it's a good thing it wasn't too sunny by the time we settled stuff and got on the roofless bus. One thing I couldn't stand was that the tour guides didn't sound singaporean. One sounded india indian, the other simply had a weird accent. (Isn't it ironic how a lot of the tourguides these days aren't local?) Well we saw smu along the way and she started explaining, "There are 3 universities in Singapore. SMU, NTU, which is Nanyang Technical University and..." By the time i heard the "technical" part I already gave up paying attention. Technical University. Huhh. Seriously. I was surprised why she didn't go "Singapore Manager University" :/

Gah enough bitching. I'm still feeling warm. And we're gonna go back to that same damned place tomorrow for the DUCK tour. Sighs. I'm so not looking forward to becoming roasted pork. Why can't they just provide free shuttle bus service to the flyer??? Why do they have to force us to pay 2bucks for an un-airconditional bus? pui pui pui.

alamak, i cant believe what u heard abt NTU... cant imagine a non local introducing singapore to others.. how authentic can that be?? sigh sigh sigh!
